On Wednesday evening before our weekly training began the company was dispatched along with other mutual aid departments to assist the West Bradford Fire Company on a reported house fire.

Engine 49-2 made the response in two minutes followed shortly behind by Engine 49-5. Initial reports indicated a smoke condition in the home with an electrical odor.

Crews from West Bradford, Thorndale and West Chester arrived first followed by Engine 49-2. The crew from 49-2 stood by out front of the residence while crews checked for the source and did confirm they had a haze inside with an electrical odor.

After confirming there was no fire the assignment was scaled back and units from EBFC were cleared.
