At 11:38 AM this morning, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to Navajo Lane in West Brandywine Township for the report of a vehicle fire.

Engine 49-2, Engine 49-5 and Utility 49-1 responded. While enroute, crews were advised that Police were on location reporting a vehicle well involved, positioned approximately 30 feet from any exposures.

Engine 49-2 arrived and confirmed the report, deploying a 1¾” handline and placing the fire under control quickly. Fortunately, no occupants were inside the vehicle.

After overhaul and cleanup operations were completed, the incident was turned over to West Brandywine Township Police and the tow company.
