A beautiful evening at East Brandywine Fire Company to get some work done!

In preparation for the upcoming arrival of Engine 49-1, our volunteers spent the evening emptying the hose bed and adjusting the hose loads on Engine 49-2 to match the new layout.

While some members focused on reloading hose, others took the opportunity to train on hydrant operations, supply line lays, attack lines, pump operations, and setting up ground monitors.

All in all, 15 dedicated volunteers put in the work—and had a great time doing it (while listening to the Philadelphia Flyers game) with nearly 2,000 feet of hose stretched across the ground.

Training, teamwork, and preparation—ready for whatever comes next. 🚒💪
