Rescue 49 and Utility 49 responded to the scene along with Battalion 49. Crews from Ladder 41, Engine 37, and Engine 38 arrived as well, accompanied by Battalion 37 and Captain 37, who reported smoke visible from the garage area. Battalion 49 and Firefighter D. Ashbee from Company 49 advanced a hose line from Engine 37, made entry into the home, and began searching for the source of the fire. Meanwhile, crews from Ladder 41 and Engine 38 assisted with opening up walls and conducting additional searches.
