| Today, members of the East Brandywine Fire Company had the privilege of visiting the lemonade stand at the corner of Reeds Rd. & Davenport Dr. in Upper Uwchlan that was organized to benefit the Daubel family after they lost their home in Friday afternoon's devastating house fire.
Our members were honored to stop by, make a donation, and show our support for this incredible family and the community that has rallied around them. We were amazed by the overwhelming turnout and generosity shown by everyone who stopped by. It was truly inspiring to see the continued support pouring in throughout the day.
While we were there, we had the opportunity to spend time with the Daubel family and many of their neighbors. We were also joined by members of Glen Moore Fire Company, Twin Valley Fire Company, and Officer Lyndsay from the Upper Uwchlan Police Department, all of whom stopped by to show their support as well. It was a great reminder that when tragedy strikes, our first responder family and our community stand together.
The kids running the lemonade stand did an outstanding job, and they even had the chance to climb aboard one of our fire trucks and test out the sirens.
On behalf of everyone at East Brandywine Fire Company, we want to thank every person who donated, purchased lemonade, shared the fundraiser, or simply kept the Daubel family in your thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, helps this family as they begin the difficult road to recovery.
