EBFC Wraps Up School Fire Prevention Visits at Brandywine Wallace
East Brandywine Fire Company completed this year’s school Fire Prevention visits today with a stop at Brandywine Wallace Elementary School.
Our members look forward to visiting the schools in our community each year, and today was no different. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the students, talk about fire safety, and help them learn habits they can share with their families.
The students also got to see our friend Axe, who was happy to join in the fun! Axe reminded everyone about this year’s theme, **“Charge into Fire Safety. Safe Charging Is a Superpower,”** and encouraged students to remember his Charging Superpower tips when using and charging their devices.
Before saying goodbye, Axe extended a special invitation to the students and their families: Come visit him and the rest of the EBFC members at our **Open House on Wednesday, October 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.!**
Thank you to the teachers, staff, and students at Brandywine Wallace—and all the schools we visited—for welcoming our volunteers. We appreciate the opportunity to help our youngest community members learn about fire prevention and keeping their families safe.
We hope to see everyone at the Open House! |
