Last night, members of the East Brandywine Fire Company had a great time attending the annual bonfire at Brandywine Wallace!
Our members were on location with **Engine 49-1, Engine 49-5, Utility 49-1, and QRS 49** to help ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone in attendance.
Prior to lighting the bonfire, our crews thoroughly inspected the pile to ensure it was safe. Members also established a safety perimeter using caution tape and traffic cones to keep spectators at a safe distance from the fire. Once everything was checked and the safety measures were in place, our crews lit the bonfire and remained on scene to monitor it throughout the event.
🚒 **Safety was our top priority!** Crews maintained a charged hose line at the ready throughout the bonfire, prepared to act immediately if needed.
Events like these are always a highlight for our members! We love having the opportunity to get out into the community, interact with residents, and be part of the traditions that bring everyone together.
