On April 10th East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched for an Engine and Ladder to assist Honey Brook Fire Company on a house fire. Additionally Glen Moore Fire Company and Twin Valley Fire Company were also alerted.

Once Chief 33 went en-route Chester County Fire Radio made him aware the caller reported fire in the chimney, which extended into the walls. Chief 33 arrived on scene and reported smoke pushing from the eves.

Captain 33 assumed command and requested attack lines on the first and second floor and also vertical ventilation.

Crews worked quickly to stop the progression of the fire despite balloon frame construction with fire on all 3 floors.

The Line Officers would like to recognize all of the emergency personnel who operated on the scene for a job well done. Also we would like to thanks the Wagontown Fire Company for standing by while we were operating on the call.
