On April 14th East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Honey Brook Fire Company with a search.

Upon arrival East Brandywine Volunteers were briefed on the fact that they were searching for a 12 year old who went missing earlier in the evening. Additionally based on some of the technology incorporated into Command 49, Honey Brook leadership requested that it be CP.

Over the course of the next couple of hours multiple agencies worked collaboratively to develop a plan and implement a thorough search of the area. These agencies included: Chester County Department of Emergency Services (COMM 1), Pennsylvania State Police, Trooper 1 Helicopter, Chester County Sherrif K9 unit and multiple fire companies.

The search proved successful around midnight, when the child was located.
