During the evening of April 21st, East Brandywine Fire Company Volunteers were dispatched to assist the Glen Moore Fire Company with a reported house fire.
Additionally Lionville Fire Company, Ludwigs Corner Fire Company and Twin Valley Fire Company as well as Uwchlan EMS were also due on the assignment.

Upon Chief 48's (Seese) arrival he indicated he had a well involved garage fire and established Kathleen Command. Chief 48 also requested three additional tankers for water supply purposes.

Crews advanced an attack line through the front door and accessed the garage while additionally two lines went to the second floor to contain the spread of fire. While crews were advancing lines in the interior vertical ventilation was also undertaken.

Despite the large volume of fire all personnel present did a remarkable job of containing the fire with very little extension.

The Line Officers would like to thank Wagontown Fire Company and Alert Fire Company for standing by and covering East Brandywine's local during the fire. Photo's courtesy of Chief Seese, Twin Valley, Facebook.
