On the evening of July 23rd East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were forced to change their training plans based on storms that moved into the area.

About 30 volunteers started the evening enjoying a meal provided by Chief Engineer Bob Zynn and FF Deb Feairheller. Following the meal, a white board exercise was conducted involving a discussion on operations and tactics. Training Officer Chris Keen led the discussion with Asst. Chief Joe Edwards, and Captain Vince D'Amico.

Once training wrapped up the focus shifted and the Firehouse Courtroom was convened. The Firehouse Courtroom is a fun way to address lighthearted issues around the Station. The Honorable John Needles presided over the cases that were brought before the Court.

The trials had to be put on hold in order to respond to a call at Freedom Village which turned out to be food on the stove. The Company went in service with ventilation. While crews were waiting for the odor to clear they took the opportunity to have Tower 45 go in service with the aerial to review placement ideas.

The Line Officers would like to thank the crew for another great turnout.
