On the evening of Thursday August 14th, volunteers from West Bradford Fire Company traveled to East Brandywine in order to train on our training pad.

East Brandywine's T3 Training Pad, now houses a peaked roof simulator, flat roof simulator, forcible entry simulator, bailout prop, and a vehicle rescue section. Construction is on-going in order to add more training aides.

West Bradford's training centered around saw usage, ventilation techniques, and practical applications on a peaked roof. The training was facilitated entirely by West Bradford Fire Company Officers and Senior Members.

According to East Brandywine Fire Company Captain Vince D'Amico "it's really rewarding to see other Companies want to train at our facility".

Fire Chief John Edwards said "I can't be more proud of all of the men and women of East Brandywine, countless hours of their time were invested in constructing the pad as well as props". Edwards added "Training Officer Chris Keen, Captain Vince D'Amico, FF Butch Collins, deserve a lot of credit for taking the lead on the project". Lastly Edwards said "I'm excited about what our Team has planned for the facility in the near future".
