On Wednesday evening August 20th, East Brandywine Fire Company Volunteers continued their vehicle rescue training series with two vehicles overturned. While vehicle rescue training was being completed three members participated in EVOC training.

According to participants, it was a great training session. Assistant Chief Engineer John Needles said "each week training gets more intense, tonight I got my butt kicked". Participants were forced to work through challenging scenarios and complete the extrication's in a safe manner.

In addition to vehicle rescue training, Frank and Shannon Dowlin instructed EVOC for three East Brandywine members.

The Line Officers would like to recognize all of those who continue to turn out to training. The effort and initiative shown in unsurpassed. Additionally special thanks to Frank and Shannon Dowlin. Lastly thanks to Morris Automotive, Flings Towing, and Reeds Salvage for securing the vehicles for our training sessions.
