Engine Standby at Newtown Square

By East Brandywine Fire Company
December 12, 2014

On Friday, December 5th, Engine 49-1 and Car 2 covered Newtown Square Fire Company's district from 1800 hours until 0700 Saturday morning while their members attended the annual fire company banquet.

While covering, the crew was dispatched for an automatic alarm at the Dunwoody Apartments. When arriving, it was discovered that there was a small bedroom fire in one of the apartments. Crews went into service quickly and placed the situation under control within thirty minutes. After the crews cleared, the rest of the evening was quiet.

Thank you Newtown Square Fire Company and Captain Kenny for requesting us to help out!
