On Wednesday evening December 17th volunteers gathered together for a training appreciation dinner. Thirty-eight firefighters and EMT's were present to enjoy a meal prepared by Training Officer Chris Keen and his wife Monica.

According to Chief John Edwards, East Brandywine Fire Company has been incredibly fortunate over the course of the last year to have someone like Chris heading up the training program. The Chief highlighted Chris' years of experience, expansive knowledge base, passion, and commitment to developing young firefighters.

It is also important to highlight the commitment of all the volunteers who routinely give of their time to train week in and week out in order to perfect their craft. This past year the average training attendance has been 25 people per evening.

T3 Training is looking forward to 2015, as additional plans to expand the training pad and forge different partnerships are well underway.

The Line Officers would like to thank both Chris and Monica for taking their time and making dinner for the crew. Additionally we would like to thank Nan Herring who provided the salad for the evening. Lastly special thanks to Jake Herring who coordinated taking down Santa's house following the dinner.
