On December 30th, 2014, at 1545 hours, East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched to Bollinger Road and East Reeceville Road for an auto accident with injuries. Engine 49-1 and Assistant 49 made the response right after dispatch and the Chester County Fire Board advised units that there were two vehicles involved with one vehicle into a pond.

Engine 49-1 arrived on scene, established Bollinger Command, and confirmed the report, advising that both patients had self extricated to the shore. Assistant 49 assumed command and also requested an additional BLS provider for the second patient. Crews packaged patients, secured hazards, and provided traffic control.

After the patients were transported, Flings Towing arrived to tow the vehicles away. Ladder 49 assisted Flings with accessing the vehicle in the pond.

All units cleared the scene soon after.
