On February 14th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched at 1am to assist Wagontown Fire Company for an outbuilding on Monacy Road. Also due on the assignment was Engine 76, Engine 44-5, and Ambulance 144.

While en-route Chester County Emergency Radio advised incoming units that Police were on location reporting a shed well involved with a 100 gallon propane tanks inside. Assistant 49 arrived on location and confirmed the report.

When personnel arrived on-scene an attack line was stretched from Engine 76 to the rear of the residence to extinguish the fire. Deputy 35 set-up Monacy Road Command and quickly put the fire under control.

Thanks to all those who came out and braved extremely cold temperatures to help their neighbor.
