During the early evening hours of February 28th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to assist Thorndale Fire Company with a reported building fire on Paul Nelms Drive.

While en-route Chester County Fire Radio advised Chief 38 that caller stated the fire originated on the stove and was spreading to the walls. Shortly after arrival Chief 38 indicated the fire was out however he had a heavy smoke condition in the building.

Personnel from not only those mentioned above but also Downingtown Fire Department and Lionville Fire Company worked collaboratively to check for extension, overhaul, and ventilate the building.
