Route 322 Accident with Entrapment

On Thursday April 2nd East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to an auto-accident on Route 322 in the area of Corner Ketch Road. Once Deputy 49 responded Chester County Fire Radio indicated that they were getting updated information that suggested there was entrapment.

Deputy 49 arrived on-scene and confirmed a vehicle overturned with one person trapped. Personnel from Engine 49-1 proceeded to stabilize the vehicle, access the patient, and start the extrication process. Personnel from Glen Moore Fire Company and Downingtown Fire Department also assisted with extrication.

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine thoughts and prayers go out to the patient involved in today's accident, and hope for a speedy recovery.
