On Sunday May 17th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers helped friends and family of Jacinda Miller celebrated her life and build a legacy by supporting the Chesco 5K and half marathon.

The event was dedicated to Jacinda who tragically lost her life last November in a case of domestic violence. Jacinda was well known for having a bright and beautiful spirit, she was an inspiration to many.

According to QRS Lt. Kevin Pilotti "it was an important event for our Company to be a part of given the fact that we cared for Jacinda that evening". Pilotti added "many of our members feel an emotional connection to Jacinda's family and friends, we want the event to be successful".

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine would like to congratulated all of the runners, volunteers, and race organizers. You all did a phenominal job.
