On Thursday July 2nd, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to a car fire in the 900 block of Creek Road. Additionally Glen Moore Fire Company made the response.

While en-route Chester County Fire Radio provided additional information that the family indicated the car was fully involved and was just a few feet from the house.

Engine 49-1 arrived on location 7 minutes after the initial dispatch and found a car well involved. Crews quickly deployed and attack line and extinguished the fire before it extended into the house.

The homeowner could not have been more pleased with the services provided, and stated "you guys got here fast, I was really worried".

Crews worked collaboratively to ensure that there was no extension into the house, and that the car was fully extinquished.
