On the morning of July 6th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to a bus accident on Culbertson Run Road. Additionally Glen Moore Fire Company and Westwood Ambulance were also on the assignment.

Upon arrival of Lt. 49, who lives in the area, it was noted that a school bus had struck a utility pole causing power and utility lines to come down. Fortunately there were no students on the bus at the time of the accident.

Crews worked on providing traffic and hazard control at the scene. Once power was shut off to the area and the bus was removed all emergency personnel cleared the scene.
