On Wednesday September 30th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers took an evening off from training to be recognized for their contributions.

According to Fire Chief John Edwards, "the key to our success is our personnel, they are our most important asset!". Edwards added "I cannot be more proud of this team of people, their commitment to excellence and dedication to the Community is unsurpassed".

The evening started with a meal provided by Caln Pizza and Pasta, and following the meal each person received a T-shirt. As the evening progressed volunteers participated a fun competition where they were asked to move an egg with the hydraulic spreaders without cracking it.

Following the egg competition, crews engaged in a spirited dodge ball game.

Throughout the evening $25 dollar gift cards from Wawa and The FireStore were raffled off. Special thanks to The FireStore for their generous donation.

The Line Officers would like to thank all of the volunteers and their families for their unwavering support.
