On Saturday November 21st, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in live burning training at the training complex in West Chester PA. Twenty-nine East Brandywine members participated in the training session.

Throughout the day volunteers participated in a number of scenarios which involved both 1st and 2nd floor fires. During the final scenario of the day the Company also ran a transitional attack evolution as a result of our recent fire dynamics training.

The day was enhanced as Assistant Chief Harvey Boyer from Elysburg Fire Company and his son Mark participated in the training exercise. Chief Boyer is a Pennsylvania State Suppression Instructor and offered some valuable insight.

The Officers and Members would like to thank the Modena Fire Company for providing standby coverage during the training.
