Early Tuesday morning while most of the Community was sleeping, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers assisted Honey Brook Fire Company on a dwelling fire.

At 3:20am Engine 49-5, Ladder 49, and Chief 49 made the response to the Brandywine Terrace Mobile Home Park for a reported building fire. Chief 33 arrived on location shortly after dispatch and reported one mobile home well involved with extension into a second mobile home.

The fire was quickly knocked down and while crews performed primary and secondary searches for victims. Once the bulk of the fire was extinguished and the residents were accounted for, attention turned to overhaul and fire investigation.

The Company returned to quarters at 5:05am in time for most of the volunteers to shower and head to their places of employment for the day.

Great job by all Companies on scene to include Honey Brook Fire Company, Glen Moore Fire Company, and Twin Valley Fire Company.
