In preparation for the Christmas holiday, once again East Brandywine's Christmas Eve breakfast drew a large crowd. It has become a bit of a tradition that volunteers gather Christmas Eve morning and eat together.

According to Assistant Chief Vince D'Amico "it is a great opportunity to spend time with friends and family to start the holiday ".
