On Sunday December 26th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to an auto-accident at Route 322 and Route 82. Additionally Glen Moore Fire Company and Westwood Ambulance were also due on the assignment.

Upon arrival of Deputy 49, responding units were alerted that the crash involved 2 vehicles blocking the intersection. Additionally responding personnel used hydraulic tools to remove the door for better patient egress due to a lower extremity injury.

After patients were removed and transported, the vehicles were towed and the roadway was reopened to traffic.
