On Friday January 15th our Deputy Chief, Joe Edwards, was working out at Planet Fitness in Downingtown when a patron went into sudden cardiac arrest. Joe immediately initiated CPR and utilized an AED to administer shocks to the patient. The patient regained pulses and was transported to the hospital.

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine would like to congratulate Deputy Chief Edwards for a job well done.

Additionally our thoughts and prayers are with the patient for his speedy recovery.
