Company Responds to an Auto-Accident with Entrapment

On Friday February 5th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to an auto-accident with entrapment on Route 282. Upon Assistant 49's arrival he confirmed a two vehicle accident with one occupant still in the vehicle.

Engine 49 arrived shortly after dispatch and personnel quickly began stabilizing the car and preparing for extrication, while EMS personnel cared for the patient. Twenty-five minutes after arrival the patient was removed from the vehicle and transported to a local Trauma Center.

The Line Officers of East Brandywine would like to thank Downingtown Fire Department of providing mutual aide support.

Additionally the Officers and Members of East Brandywine would like to extend their thoughts and prayers to the victims involved in the accident.
