May 19, 2016

On Wednesday evening May 19th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers continued to train on vehicle rescue.

Thirty-three members were in attendance to learn more about hybrid and electric cars. Both of these types of vehicles pose unique challenges to Fire and EMS professionals with regard to vehicle rescue and fire suppression activities.

Additionally those in attendance had an opportunity to review a large cement mixer which is powered by natural gas.

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank the following persons and organizations for their help:

Silva Concrete - Brian Shertzer
Exton Nissan
Del Toyota
