T3 Training: Ropes and Rigging Continued

On Wednesday evening June 22nd East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers continued their training focusing on ropes and rigging. This is an area that most firefighters will tell you they struggle.

Volunteers trained on raising and lowering systems specifically a 3:1 Z-rig. This is an application generally used for high or low angle rescues. While Chester County is fortunate to have a team that specializes in high and low angle rescues, it is still important for fire fighters to be familiar with the concept.

The Line Officers of East Brandywine would like to thank all of the volunteers who continue to commit countless hours of personal time advancing their knowledge base.
