On Wednesday June 30th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to Route 82 & Route 282 in West Nantmeal Township for what was initially reported as a car fire. When en-route personnel were updated that smoke was coming from an automobile following an accident.

Upon arrival personnel from Engine 49-1 assessed the patients involved and managed traffic control in this very busy intersection. East Brandywine personnel remained on-scene until Pennsylvania State Police could complete their investigation and paperwork.

Shortly following the MVA the QRS was dispatched to East Brandywine Community Park for an injured person on the trail. Upon arrival medical personnel found their patient on the trail a few hundred yards from the nearest parking lot.

ATV 49 was requested and arrived shortly after Ambulance 46-1 in order to transport the patient. Personnel packaged and loaded the patient who was en-route to a Trauma Center shortly thereafter.

East Brandywine Volunteers have all those persons affected by today's incidents in our thoughts.
