T3 Training: Hoseline Management

This past Wednesday evening East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in hoseline management training. Personnel practiced pulling both 1.75" and 2.5" attack lines and advancing them within a building.

This type of hands on, routine training pays dividends while dealing with a true emergency. This could not have been more evident early Friday morning when the Company was dispatched to fire involving multiple trucks. As a result on on-going practice, putting 3 attack lines efficiently into service happened seamlessly.

While hoseline management training was taking place, more construction work was being done on the containers. Training Officer Chris Keen is working on the final aspects of the project by building out the interior space.

The Officers would like to thank all of the volunteers for their incredible commitment to training and learning their craft.
