On Thursday September 15th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to a reported trash truck fire in the area of Route 82 and Route 322.

Upon arrival it was determined that the fire actually involved the undercarriage and the tires of the truck. Personnel from the 3 Engines on-scene quickly extinguished the fire preventing spread into the trash container.
