On Saturday September 18th around 10pm East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to a motorcycle accident at Route 322 and Bollinger Road. Additionally Minquas Ambulance and Medic 93 were also due on the assignment.

While en-route Chief 49 (Edwards) was notified by Chester County Fire Radio that a Pennsylvania State Trooper was on-scene and reported the condition of the motorcyclist was extremely serious. The Glen Moore Fire Company was added to the assignment.

Upon arrival it was noted that the accident involved one car and a motorcycle, and due to the impact the motorcycle and patient ended up in an adjoining field. Route 322 Command was established, and EMS providers quickly assessed, treated and packaged the patient for rapid transport to a local Trauma Center.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this accident.
