During the afternoon of Saturday December 31st East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to Freedom Village Retirement Community for an automatic fire alarm (AFA).

The alarm was set off as a result of popcorn being overcooked in the microwave.

As we close out 2016 we would like to not only thank our volunteers who continually give of themselves. We would also like to thank the Community who provides us with unwavering support.

We are looking forward to ringing in a happy, safe, and prosperous New Year with all residents and local business owners!
