On Wednesday March 1st East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to Route 282 and Fairview Road for reported wires down in the roadway.

Chief 49, Engine 49 and Utility 49 made the response to assist the Glen Moore Fire Company. While enroute it was reported that there was a truck in the roadway surrounded by wires with confined occupants. Upon arrival, the truck and its occupants had already successfully moved away from the hazard area.

The roadway was shut down to traffic for an extended period of time and the utility services were notified.
