On Wednesday evening May 31st, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in vehicle rescue training as well as car fire simulations.

Over the course of 2 hours participants performed a rescue evolution which involved removing the doors and roof from a vehicle. Following the scenario those involved critiqued the process to identify areas of improvement.

Following the vehicle rescue component volunteers then proceeded to ignite the car to have live automobile fire drills.

If you would like to join our team, stop by any Wednesday evening and observe training. We would love for you to consider donating your time and talent to our dynamic group of volunteers.
