Over the last few years the volunteers of East Brandywine Fire Company started a grass roots initiative building a small training facility.

According to Training Officer Chris Keen "it actually started by building a roof prop and has developed into something much more".

With very little resources and money but a lot of sweat equity the training facility now includes the following:

40'x40' concrete pad
Peaked roof prop
Flat rood prop
Bail out simulator
Forcible entry prop
Shipping containers built out to include 3 stories inside with a maze and a collapsing floor

On Saturday March 10th the shipping containers received another new addition. FF/EMT Dane Edwards who is a metal fabricator full time helped us brand our containers by making a metal T3.

Keen added "while a sign on a shipping container may not be a big deal to some for us it is yet another way that we display our pride in our Organization".
