On Monday afternoon the Company was dispatched to motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Route 282. Shortly after the dispatch Deputy 49 responded and was made aware that the accident involved a car which was overturned with one occupant in the vehicle.

Engine 49-1, QRS 49, and Utility 49 responded in addition to MICU 46. Deputy 49 arrived on location and confirmed the report and established Route 282 Command.

East Brandywine volunteers worked to stabilize the vehicle, gain access to the patient and extricate them from the vehicle. The patient was removed from the vehicle EMS personnel from MICU 46 took over care of the patient and transported them to a local hospital.
