On Tuesday May 19th at 10:33am EBFC volunteers along with MICU 46 were dispatched to Route 322 & Little Washington for an auto accident with injuries involving two vehicle.

Deputy 49 arrived on location with a two vehicle accident blocking traffic and confirmed he had one subject injured and would need the drivers side door removed to allow EMS access to the patient.

Engine 49-1, QRS 49 and Utility 49 all made the response. On the arrival of Engine 49-1 the crew went into service with the hydraulic tools and removed both doors on the drivers side and the B post to allow EMS easier access to the patient. Once the doors were removed crews assisted with patient removal.

While the extrication was being completed QRS and Utility handled traffic control around the scene along with EBPD.

Once the patient was transported and the vehicle was removed all EBFC units were available and cleared the scene.
