During the fire companies' monthly meeting last night we have two special guests join us from the South Media Fire Company in Delaware County. FF/Past Chief M. Poissant and Captain E. Yarborough were with us to present the marshall Byre Aware to current EBFC Member Jim Ortoleva.

Before joining EBFC, Jim was a Fire Marshal for Nether Providence Township and Rose Valley in Delaware County and a Firefighter with South Media Fire Company.

We were told that this was just the third time this service award has been granted in the history of South Media Fire Company.

Congratulations Jim you have devoted much of your life to the fire service and deserve this award.
