On Friday night 6/18/2021 at 11:30 pm, the volunteers from EBFC along with EMS from MICU 244 were dispatched to N Manor and Tomahawk Ln in West Brandywine for an auto accident with one vehicle reported overturned.

West Brandywine PD arrived first and reported the vehicle was now on its wheels and the driver was out of the vehicle however, the entire roadway was blocked by debris and the vehicle.

Battalion 49 arrived and assumed command. Rescue 49 arrived a short time later and took a blocking position at N Manor and Tomahawk with Utility 49 while Assistant 49 went to the other end at Lenape Way to block traffic in that direction.

EMS transported one subject to a local hospital. Once the scene was cleared by PD the crew from Rescue and Utility 49 began cleaning up all the debris from the road including all of the rocks that got knocked into the roadway.

Flings Towing arrived and removed the vehicle and crews cleared a short time later.
