On Sunday 10/29/2023 at 1:10pm the EBFC volunteers were dispatched to the parking lot of Rite Aid in East Brandywine for a vehicle fire reported to be fire from the engine of a parked sedan.

Chief 49 arrived on location with an engine compartment fire. Engine 49-2 arrived quickly behind the Chief and deployed an 1 3/4 handline and quickly extinguished the fire. Units were on scene for approx. 15 minutes before clearing.
