Saturday morning at 10:58am the company was dispatched to 151 Hopewell Rd for a vehicle fire. Reports stated fire in the rear of a van on the side of the roadway.

Engine 49-2 made the response with minutes and arrived with smoke showing from the rear of the van. Crews placed a booster line in service and knocked a small fire in the rear of the van that appeared to have started from a drill battery.

Engine 49-5 and Rescue 49 also made the response and assisted on scene. Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes before clearing. No injuries were reported.
