May 7, 2025

At approximately 5:28 PM on Wednesday evening, the East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched along with EMS from Minquas Fire Company and the East Brandywine Township Police Department to the intersection of Horseshoe Pike (Route 322) and Bondsville Road for a reported vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles.

Safety 49 was first to arrive on scene and confirmed a three-vehicle collision that was blocking the roadway. Additional units from East Brandywine, including Rescue 49, Engine 49-2, Utility 49-1, and Utility 49-2, responded to the incident.

To manage the traffic and ensure scene safety, both Utility vehicles were deployed to shut down Horseshoe Pike at Osborne Road and Bondsville Road at East Reeceville Road. Engine 49-2 also established a roadblock for eastbound traffic at the Township Building.

Fire crews from Rescue 49 quickly went to work securing all hazards on the involved vehicles and mitigating fluid spills in the roadway. EMS personnel from Minquas evaluated all occupants involved in the crash. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported and no transports were required.

Flings Towing arrived promptly and removed all three vehicles from the scene. Once the debris was cleared and the roadway was deemed safe, crews reopened the intersection at 6:06 PM and returned available.
