RIT Response to House Fire in Uwchlan Township

August 10, 2025

On Sunday morning, August 10, 2025, at 5:31 AM, the East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched to Taylor Road in Uwchlan Township to assist the Lionville Fire Company at a reported house fire.

A total of 15 volunteers responded on Ladder 49, Engine 49-2, and Utility 49, standing by on scene as the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) alongside other mutual aid departments.

As has been reported, this tragic incident claimed the life of one resident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, and community during this very difficult time.
