| Last night was our Annual Open House Event, and what a turnout it was! We estimate that over 600 people attended this year’s event. From start to finish, the parking lot and firehouse were full as families and community members came out to enjoy an evening with their local volunteers.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet our firefighters and explore the firehouse while spending time with our always-popular mascots Sparky and Axe. The night was filled with activities that everyone enjoyed — ATV rides, bounce houses, firehouse tours, and of course, the highlight of the evening — the vehicle rescue demonstration, where guests got to see our brand-new Rescue 49 in action for the first time!
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this night such a success — from our dedicated volunteers to the many community partners who contributed to the event. Special thanks to:
Crop’s Fresh Market for donating the food
Fling’s Towing for providing and removing the vehicle used in the demonstration
East Brandywine and West Brandywine Police Departments for their support
Belfor Property Restoration for their continued partnership
IrishEyez Chesco for some of the photos
We are truly grateful for the incredible community support we receive year after year. Events like this remind us how strong the bond is between our volunteers and the residents we proudly serve. |
