This morning at 7:37am, East Brandywine Fire Company along with Minquas EMS were dispatched to the 500 block of Rock Raymond Road in East Brandywine Township for an auto accident reported with entrapment.

Initial reports indicated a vehicle into a pole and on its side with at least one person trapped. MICU 46-4 and East Brandywine Police arrived first and confirmed that both occupants were out of the vehicle prior to Rescue 49’s arrival.

Rescue 49 arrived and confirmed a pole snapped with the vehicle on its side across both lanes. Engine 49-2, QRS 49, and Utility 49-2 also responded and shutdown the roadway between Dorlan Mill Rd and E. Buck Rd.

Flings Towing arrived on scene, uprighted and removed the vehicle, and assisted Rescue 49’s crew with debris cleanup. Once the roadway was cleared, all units were made available and the road was reopened.

Both occupants were evaluated by EMS on scene.
