This morning at 1:53 AM, Engine 49-2 made the response to Caln Township assisting the Thorndale Fire Company along with other mutual aid departments for a reported house fire in the Fairways Development.

Crews arrived to find fire showing from the rear of a 2½-story middle-of-the-row townhouse. Engine 49-2’s crew assisted with checking the exposure buildings, opening up inside the main fire building, and assisting with primary searches.

The fire was placed under control in under 30 minutes. Units remained on scene for an extended period assisting with overhaul and cleanup before returning to service.
